Payr is built to minimise the personal data it processes. There are no user accounts and no profiles. This policy explains the limited data we handle when you make a purchase.
1. Data we process
- Transaction data: the destination wallet address, the asset and network, the amount, and the resulting order reference.
- Payment data: card payments are processed by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment provider. Payr does not see or store your full card number.
- Optional email: if you choose to provide an email for a receipt, we use it only to send transaction-related messages.
- Technical data: IP address and approximate country, used for fraud prevention, sanctions screening, and service security.
2. Why we process it
To execute and deliver your purchase, to prevent fraud and abuse, to comply with anti-money-laundering and sanctions obligations, and to operate and secure the Service.
3. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers necessary to deliver the Service — our card payment processor and our blockchain payout provider — and with authorities where legally required. We do not sell your data.
4. Retention
We retain transaction records for as long as required to meet legal, accounting, and anti-money- laundering obligations, and then delete or anonymise them.
5. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights to access, correct, or erase personal data we hold about you. Because we hold very little and have no account to authenticate you against, please contact us with your order reference so we can locate the relevant record.
6. Cookies
We use a single essential session cookie for security and to protect against cross-site request forgery. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
